When sending an email to a recipient you may at times want to request a read receipt, that the intended recipient has read your email.
How to request a read receipt via Outlook:
1. When creating your email for the intended recipient and you wish to request a read receipt. Click on the ‘Option’ tab.
2. Within the ribbon, ticket the box to the left of ‘Request a Read Receipt’.
3. Now when the recipient reads your sent email you will get an email informing you that they have read it.
